Right of Withdrawal

These instructions apply to consumers who buy an e-book with its online practice on easylanguagebooks.com.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us at the following contact details of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an e-mail:

Yehor Chulkov, Easy Language Books

Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sandner-Straße 2, Turm 9/Etage 9, 1100 Wien, Österreich

E-mail: [email protected]

Telephone: +43 677 628 957 82

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You can also withdraw online on our page Withdraw from the contract (see below).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. Because the purchase was processed through Link (Stripe), we arrange the refund through Link.

With the refund, your right to use the e-book files and your access to the book's online practice end.

Early expiry for e-books bought from 31 October 2026

For an e-book bought on or after 31 October 2026, your right of withdrawal lapses once the download begins, if beforehand you expressly agreed that its provision begins before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This applies to the purchase as a whole, including the online practice that comes with the book.

This is how it works: there is no tick box at checkout. The e-mail you receive after payment links to your personal download page. Before the first download, that page asks for your consent. The files open only after you have ticked the box. We confirm your consent to you by e-mail. Without this consent, your right of withdrawal remains, and the files become available for download on the same page once the 14-day withdrawal period has ended.

The right of withdrawal lapses early only if all the following conditions are met:

  1. You expressly consented in advance to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends.
  2. You acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose the right of withdrawal when performance begins.
  3. We provided the confirmation on a durable medium, namely by e-mail, including your consent and acknowledgment.

This follows from § 18(1)(11) FAGG, in conjunction with § 7(3) FAGG, and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. Merely accepting the terms or opening the download page is not sufficient without these conditions.

For an e-book bought before 31 October 2026, the right of withdrawal does not lapse when you download or open the e-book; you can withdraw throughout the withdrawal period and receive the price back as described above.

There is no separate money-back guarantee; your statutory rights are unaffected.

Online withdrawal

Throughout the withdrawal period, you can withdraw online on our page Withdraw from the contract at easylanguagebooks.com/order/withdraw/ (§ 13a FAGG). Enter your name, your e-mail address, the contract you are withdrawing from (the book and, if you have it, the order number) and how we can reach you, then confirm with the button. We confirm receipt of your withdrawal by e-mail without delay, stating its content and the date and time of receipt.

Model withdrawal form

Model form under Annex I B of Directive 2011/83/EU. Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
