Nice to meet you

I’m Yehor Chulkov, and I wrote German from 0 to C2.

I’ve been teaching German for more than eight years and have taught over 2,000 students. Most of them live in German-speaking countries.

In 2019 I passed the Goethe-Zertifikat C2.

I live in Vienna. My YouTube channel “Deutsch mit Yehor” has more than 200,000 subscribers.

Everything I’ve worked out over years of teaching went into this book: explanations that make sense the first time, and exercises that make a rule stick.

How I explain

  • Every rule starts with a situation and with why you need it; the table comes after.
  • English is your support along the way, and short boxes show where it helps and where it trips you up.
  • Where there’s no logic, the book says so.
  • Every lesson has a dialogue from the life of Alina, who has moved to Cologne.
  • In the answer key, every answer comes with the reason why.
